Section 91 provides the areas of legislative authority for the Parliament of Canada including the Peace, Order and Good Government [POGG] clause which provides that: It shall be lawful for the Queen, by and with the Advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons, to make laws for the Peace, Order and good Government of Canada, in relation to all Matters not coming within the Classes of Subjects by this Act assigned exclusively to the Legislatures of the Provinces; .
The president also gave himself the power "to make laws for the peace, order and good government of Fiji" and said the validity of any decree cannot be tested in court.
They are all forgotten, and they are looking for a party whose mission in office is to rule in good faith as governments once did--for the peace, order and good government of Australia, not for some permanent round of back-door factional deals and favours to the sometimes insatiable power bases.
