This policy was crowned with the premiere in December last year of "Fragments of One Afternoon" for vibraphone, piano and string quartet, which the well-known jazz pianist and composer Karel Ruzicka wrote specially for the occasion. Although Andrew never liked using computers, he has since composed a piece for piano and string quartet and a piece for cello. For instance we were the first Czech group to play Feldman's Piano and String Quartet and Crumb's Black Angels. |
