Dynisco's new piezoelectric transducers include button and slide models to measure or cavity pressures to 30,000 psi at up to 300 F.
The ultrasonic wave source is a small conical piezoelectric transducer (designed as an acoustic emission sensor), and the displacement detector is a low power (1 mW) laser interferometer of special design.
For in-cavity melt pressure, models 4MO1 and 4MO2 quartz piezoelectric transducers are offered along with the associated cabling.
