Taiwan government estimates local demands for polycrystalline silicon to reach 39,000 metric tons throughout next year.
Tokyo, Aug 31, 2009 - (JCN) - Tokuyama Corporation has named the Samalaju Industrial Park in Sarawak, Malaysia, as the site to build a manufacturing facility for polycrystalline silicon for solar cells.
The solar cells that make up the module are based on polycrystalline silicon and deliver a maximum power of 300 mW(1), and as an auxiliary power source for mobile devices, will contribute to saving energy.
