The goal of the RFP is to transform the Armory into a unique mixed-use facility that will anchor the local community and create a unique destination to attract visitors from throughout the City and the region.
In a recent survey about RFPs, almost half of the treasury management respondents said their company planned to issue one RFP between 2004 and 2007; just over half said their company would issue two or more RFPs in those years; and 15 percent said their firms will do one RFP per year.
Small businesses tend to view the RFP process as some sort of legalistic ritual and wonder if they're wasting their time because the contract has already been awarded," says Michael Asner, president of Michael Asner Consulting, a small business consulting firm in Surrey, British Columbia.
