Another issue emerged Tuesday: whether the district should serve milk containing recombinant bovine growth hormone, which has been banned in Canada, Australia and numerous European countries but is commonly used in the United States.
Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH), for instance, is the focus of increased criticisms, as evidence grows about its cancer-causing potential.
Oddly enough, one reason cows are eating more of each other these days has to do with recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH), a synthetic form of the controversial hormone the dairy industry is employing to stimulate milk production.
