Since its inception in 1992, JTF-FA has conducted more than 3,500 case investigations and 600 recovery operations which have led to the repatriation of remains that may relate to as many as 500 unaccounted-for Americans. Specifically the ACE USA MTA program offers the following: AD&D Emergency Medical; Emergency Medical evacuation; and, Repatriation of remains. The United States Government has invested considerable energy in persuading the DPRK to adhere to the provisions of the Armistice Agreement that cover repatriation of remains. |
