Activities eligible for funding include: design, implementation or expansion of residential recycling and yard waste composting programs; curbside collection of recyclables; design and implementation of "pay-as-you-throw" programs; recycling outreach programs; and other activities that reduce residential solid waste generation and disposal or that help to achieve Delaware's goal to divert 30 percent of recyclables from the residential solid waste stream.
