Army sent letters to seventy-five dead officers urging them to return to active duty. Filmmaking team Glen Morgan and James Wong return to active duty (they wrote and directed, respectively, the first ``Final Destination'' movie), but judging by the lack of effort on display, the movie's overriding hatefulness might possibly stem from the fact that it's six years later and these guys aren't any further along in their careers. Cotton took a leave of absence from his civilian job in 2003 to return to active duty as chief of the Naval Reserves, which have played a major role in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. |
