MURRIETA -- They haven't done any team bonding exercises yet, but future USC golfers Rory Hie and Jamie Lovemark sure acted like teammates at the CIF/SCGA championship Thursday afternoon at the SCGA Members Course in Murrieta. The SCGA is one of the nation's oldest and largest regional golf associations with more than 1,200 member clubs and 160,000 individual members throughout Southern California and Baja California. Casca turned in the best performance of all area competitors with a 2-under 70 to finish in a tie for sixth place and earn a spot in next week's CIF/SCGA championship at the SCGA Masters Course in Murrieta. |
