We have committed to ITT and NASA to ensure the critical SCNS program meets the needs of its many customers and users.
Under the SCNS contract, ITT will support NASA's Space and Near Earth Networks, which provide most of the communications and tracking services for a wide range of Earth-orbiting spacecraft, including the International Space Station, the space shuttle, the Hubble Space Telescope and the Earth Observing System satellites.
Smiths Aerospace was one of the first aerospace companies to introduce PBL programs in 1997 with a program to support the RAF Hercules SCNS (Self-Contained Navigation System).
