There are two TACLAN suites for upper-echelon command elements: The full suite, which will be found at the battalion level and higher, allows users to access the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System; the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network, or SIPRNET; and the Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network, or NIPRNET. The DPOC functions as a deployable office, providing SDDC personnel with the same nonsecure Internet protocol router network, secret Internet protocol router network, video teleconferencing, fax, and IT capabilities they have at their home stations. |
