Finally, to improve physician understanding and analysis of complex health care issues, a 12-month leadership development educational program was crafted between SJC and a local university for current and future physician leaders.
Under the arrangement, students who successfully complete a series of self-study courses (usually three) developed by SJC and offered at ACHCA University, an online education resource, and who then complete a fourth module and pass a comprehensive exam, will be eligible to receive three college credits.
