The solution, based on Rockwell's 56kbps technology, called K56PLUS, and the Ascend MAX WAN access switch architecture, will allow ISPs to market high-speed 56kbps transmission services to analog-based end-users and customers, while providing support for the full complement of integrated WAN services already available on Ascend MAX and MAX TNT platforms -- conventional analog, ISDN, SW56, and frame relay. Supported dial-up telecommunication facilities include SW56 (2-wire and 4-wire), ISDN BRI (1 to 4 BRI lines), T1 (Nx56), and ISDN PRI (1 or 2 PRI lines).
