It was a dancing career that began in 1934 as a snowflake in the Vic-Wells Ballet's production of The Nutcracker and ended (and I was present at her very last appearance) in 1986 in Miami, Florida, with the Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet, walking with consummate grace as the queen in the The Sleeping Beauty--an incredible full circle taking in more than a half century. In a first for Great Britain, the installation at Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet will enable patrons to pre-order drinks and snacks prior to intermission, allowing the guests to have a better experience at intermission, and allowing Eliance to improve service delivery to guests and track sales. She danced with Maurice Bejart's Ballet of the Twentieth Century from 1967 to 1971, the London Festival Ballet from 1972 to 1975 and as a frequent guest artist at Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet in London. |
