Dinner concert by French singer Sapho at Golden Tulip Hotel, doors open 7pm. Franco-Moroccan artist Sapho will return to Bahrain in May to perform at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Manama. Finally, and perhaps most momentously, this set includes a recording of Jules Massenet accompanying soprano Georgette Leblanc in a 1903 recording (surviving in a unique test pressing) of "Pendant un an je fus ta femme" from his opera Sapho. |
