The site was announced by the Science Learning Network (SLN), which is a joint project among Unisys Corporation, The Franklin Institute (Philadelphia), Museum of Science (Boston), Science Museum of Minnesota, Miami Museum of Science, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and the Exploratorium (San Francisco).
The Science Learning Network is just one example of the vast educational resources that will become available to Ohio public schools as a result of the state's SchoolNet program.
The Science Learning Network will integrate the educational resources offered by these science/technology centers with the power of telecomputing to provide powerful new support for teacher development and science learning.
