The Shoaiba barge seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant is one of Saudi Arabia's largest RO seawater desalination plants and the world's largest sea-based desalination plant. Byline: Staff Report Dubai: Aqua Engineering and Tecton Engineering and Construction Consortium have won a Dh139 million engineering, procurement and construction contract to build a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant with a capacity to produce 7 million imperial gallons of clean water per day at Al Zawra, Ajman, from the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (Fewa).
