We examined the feasibility of using a dye technique for staging patients by sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNBX).
The center offers breast cancer risk assessment, a high risk clinic, breast cancer prevention studies, updated breast conserving cancer surgeries and reconstruction, sentinel lymph node biopsy expertise, diagnosis of breast masses, psychological and inspiration support services, pain management and the City of Hope Medical Group second opinion clinic.
David Bupp, Neoprobe's president and CEO, said, "These trials will be an important step in demonstrating what we believe to be one of the strongest attributes of Lymphoseek; its potential ability to expand the use of Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in the staging and treatment of cancers beyond breast cancer and melanoma where it has already been widely accepted.
