Antonio Carraro made the 4WD TTR 9400 with a 30-degree-plus of oscillation, short wheel base, 32 speeds (16F and 16R), and rear PTO that is synchronized at 540/540E revs per minute. We believe this new category of vehicle -- short wheel base, high payload and zero emissions -- can meet the transportation needs of many congested urban areas facing air-quality issues. Plaintiffs allege that American Suzuki has known about the Suzuki Samurais' design defect, which involves a center of gravity for the vehicle that is too high, a narrow tread width, a short wheel base and light weight, all of which combine to create an unacceptable risk of highly injurious or deadly roll-over accidents since 1986. |
