PETROBRAS, Brazil's state-run oil company, awarded a US$239 million contract to Sinopec, a Chinese state-owned engineering company, to build a natural gas pipeline. Sinopec won two of eight awards distributed - the grand prix for best overall investor relations by a large-cap company and best annual report and other corporate literature. The plant for SINOPEC will have a processing capacity of 10,800 tons per day while the plant for CNOOC/Shell will be able to process 25,000 tons of wastewater per day. |
