Prior to founding CrosStor, Harris worked for Bell Laboratories in Unix System development, where he was a key contributor to the development of the System V Release 4, AT&T's standard setting version of Unix, which was subsequently sold to Novell. NetPlus Pro*Vision software is now available from ACE*COMM for Stratus Continuum Series Systems running either Stratus FTX(TM), a fault- tolerant UNIX(R) System V Release 4 operating system, or HP-UX(TM) operating system environment. Originally announced with an eight-processor maximum, the ten-processor Model 80 supports the 120 MHz Intel Pentium processor and an enhanced version of Unisys UNIX System V Release 4 for multiprocessor systems (SVR4/MP) designed for improved scalability and performance. |
