Long-term global service agreements were signed with major video and telecommunications customers in Australia, Brazil, Ecuador and France including: Embratel, one of Brazil's leading telecommunications providers and TARBS (Television & Radio Broadcasting Services), an Australian-based DTH provider with multicultural content. In addition to using multiple international satellites in PanAmSat's fleet for DTH and contribution services in the Asia-Pacific, TARBS will now broadcast more than 50 channels of multicultural television programming direct to consumers' homes in the United States over the Galaxy XR North American satellite. |
