Spectral compatibility and co-existence with narrowband and legacy DSL services including POTS, EuroISDN, TCM-ISDN and ADSL. The Annex C standard was developed to overcome crosstalk problems inherent with pulp insulated loops and TCM-ISDN services, both of which are widely deployed in Japan. Unlike the rest of the world, Japan's existing telephone network uses TCM-ISDN, and therefore requires special DSL solutions like those provided by Centillium. |
