Underscoring the need for better promotion activities in the international market to boost exports, spokesperson of the TEPC
Badri Bahadur Karki said that the declining trend in the export of some major commodities would continue if the worldwide financial crisis and deteriorating business atmosphere in the country did not improve.
Sanjay Nayak, Vice Chairman TEPC and MD Tejas Networks, on behalf of the industry said- Africa is one of the fastest growing ICT markets in the world and we see tremendous need and opportunity to build high-capacity and resilient broadband network infrastructure along with innovative IT solutions.
In addition, TEPC also organizes a Buyer-Seller Meet in New Delhi each year in February, where potential buyers from across the globe are invited to meet the telecom equipment and services suppliers of India to develop long term business relations.
The event is jointly executed by the TEPC

Project Description : The project consists of a risk-sharing facility ( RSF ) between IFC and Credit du Congo ( CDCO or the Bank ) to help the Bank finance a portfolio of eligible Small and Medium Enterprises ( SMEs ) in the value chain of Total Exploration & Production Congo ( TEPC ), the country s largest global oil exploration and production company.
IFC expects to deploy its Business Edge SME training platform in the Republic of Congo, to provide capacity building for local firms including subcontractors of TEPC.
