The TSEAC reviews and evaluates data concerning the safety of products that may be at risk for transmission of spongiform encephalopathies having an impact on the public health. He serves as consultant to the European CJD surveillance program and as Chair of TSEAC, the transmissible spongiform encephalopathy advisory committee of the United States Food and Drug Administration. |
