And while city officials have estimated it could take up to six weeks to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy for the new building, City Councilman Richard Alarcon said Wednesday he is trying to expedite the move for the Pacoima-based group. Additionally, since the building already has been issued a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy, buyers can realistically expect to close on their apartments somewhere within the following 30-60 days from signing a contract. By the time it received its temporary certificate of occupancy on June 19, the company had leasing commitments on 75 apartments, at $1,000 to $6,000 per month. |
