Following the Employment Court ruling, Spotless Services agreed to pass on to their employees the same terms and conditions enjoyed by workers employed by the three other contractors in DHBs who provide the same or similar services. The report would also include a detailed explanation of why institutional officials believe the terms and conditions of each type of educational loan provided are beneficial for its students. Legislation does not require that an organisation has to have a formal written contract with its employees, but such a contract can prevent disputes over terms and conditions at a later date, whereas oral agreements can often be called into question. |
