In an article to be published in the Texas Law Review, Professor Nancy Marder makes a powerful argument for eliminating the peremptory challenge. Herink earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska and a doctorate of jurisprudence from The University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review and The Order of the Coif. The co-author of five editions of the frequently used casebook, "Constitutional Law: Cases and Materials," the most recent of which was published in 2005 (with William Cohen and Vikram Amar), Varat has published articles in University of Chicago Law Review, Texas Law Review and UCLA Law Review, among others. |
