The SQN1220 features Sequans' patent-pending mimoMAX[TM] technology that comprises dual transmit channels (2Tx), enabling uplink MIMO, and maximum likelihood MIMO performance for throughput of greater than 40 Mbps with extremely low power consumption.
In addition to the marked performance improvement enabled by the industry's highest level of integration, the SQN1210 features Sequans' patent-pending mimoMAX[TM] technology, which combines a maximum likelihood decoder on the downlink with dual transmit channels on the uplink, a feature unique to Sequans that enables uplink MIMO, greatly increasing the link budget, which can be used to nearly double cell coverage and/or lower the power consumption and cost of mobile devices.
Additionally, the module has a 17 DWord FIFO per receive channel, an 8 DWord FIFO per transmit channel, and a 128 DWord central FIFO for both transmit and receive.
