transmitter designs are based on the Harris PowerSmart architecture.
As with Maxiva ULX liquid-cooled and UAX
air-cooled UHF transmitters, the Maxiva UAX
Compact Class features Harris' PowerSmart technology to create a compact, cost-efficient transmitter with high power density and low operating costs.
These products include the Maxiva UAX
Compact Class transmitter; the Apex M2X exciter IP and satellite receiver modules, and Harris' new outdoor transmission enclosures.
The new manufacturing facility, located in Campinas, a region 80 miles northwest of Sao Paulo, will produce Harris Maxiva UAX air-cooled solid-state transmitters for distribution to broadcasters across Brazil, as well as throughout Mercosur (the Common Market of the South) and other Latin American countries.
Also, Harris has registered its Maxiva UAX transmitters with the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), which will enable its customers to obtain financing from BNDES.
The transmitters being used are the Maxiva UAX
air-cooled UHF transmitters.
At the BIRTV exhibition in Beijing, China, last year, the Maxiva UAX air-cooled UHF TV transmitter was awarded 'outstanding broadcast product' in the 'Radio and Television Transmission and Delivery' category.
Designed for broadcasters that require a cost- and space-efficient solution for low-power transmission, the Maxiva UAX range is available in digital power levels from 10W to 2kW.
Its Nexio Volt integrated storage server and the Maxiva UAX
air-cooled 1kW transmitter received the awards for Outstanding Product in the Video and Broadcast Production, and the Radio and Television Transmission and Delivery categories, respectively.
