Coventry University has won funding from the British Council under its UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) to produce the two-year course which will be delivered in India.
The project is jointly funded by the Indian and UK governments under the UK-India Education and Research Initiative.
The scheme will share pounds 27m of funding over the next two years with the UK-India education and research initiative, which Mr Blair also launched officially yesterday.
