THE UKTA Scottish Open Championships took place recently and a six-strong team travelled from Wirral to the Ravenscraig Sports facility in Glasgow.

Both Joe and Mark follow a long list of fighters from Wiral UKTA who have enjoyed success at national, open and European level since the club was established more than 20 years ago.
The UKTA have had special 60th anniversary medals designed for the occasion and some local Taekwondo practitioners from Wirral will be competing in the hope of winning one.
Although only a small number of locals, from Wirral UKTA, competed, they had great success.
