According to the UNHRC, Canada received 25,500, the third highest among the industrialized countries (However, Citizenship and Immigration Canada claims 33,000). Fortunately, pressure from the Islamic Conference and its allies forced the UNHRC to postpone its vote. They work in cooperation with the United Nations (UNICEF, UNHRC, UNDP, WHO), and many other aid agencies including Doctors Without Borders, Concern, Save the Children and the International Red Cross. |
