So the story was far from over, because in 2004 the legal experts of the Minister of Science ruled that the UVVU did not have the legal grounds to make such a judgement of not living up to 'scientific code of conduct'.
The UVVU verdict indicates that both the media and politicians have blown up the results of a fairly unknown researcher, and endowed them with an unjustifiably detrimental influence on the lives and welfare of everybody.
I believe that the outcome of the UVVU assessment should be viewed in this light.
