The 13-member ensemble uses the bracing sounds of trumpets, trombones, baritone saxophone, conga, bongo, timbale, upright bass and acoustic piano to create salsa that's both modern and historic, packing dance floors around the world along the way.
Complete with an upright bass, steel and acoustic guitars and a grassroots no-one's-going-to-do-it-for-us-but-us attitude, these three are not at all what you run across every day in record stores over-saturated with redundant crap.
Two trumpets, two trombones and a baritone sax make up the bracing brass sound of this band dedicated conga, bongo and timbale players round out the percussion and the upright bass and acoustic piano are the icing on this salsa flavored cake.
