In November, the call for a moratorium was taken up by more than 30 groups and individuals representing a variety of interests at an all-day event, "Journee d'etude sur le vaccin contre le VPH," organized by the Federation du Quebec pour le planning des naissances (FQPN) to examine and discuss the vaccination program.
A group of experts in the fields of primary care, gastroenterology, hepatology, infectious and sexually transmitted diseases, human immunodeficiency virus, travel medicine, and public health convened to discuss prevention of hepatitis B and hepatitis A and to develop recommendations for VPH based on available evidence.
