Its new V-6 features Honda's Variable Cylinder Management technology, which allows the engine to run on three, four or six of the engine's cylinders, depending on the amount of power needed, providing both brisk acceleration and fuel savings. The V6 in the Sedan is mated to a five-speed automatic and it offers Honda's Variable Cylinder Management system, a system that Honda has taken to a new level for the Accord. Some 70 new jobs will be created in Greenfield as Keihin IPT, a supplier of fuel injectors, throttle bodies and intake manifolds to Honda of America, invests up to $60 million to produce its new Variable Cylinder Management System. |
