Vehicular Intercom Systems, which is part of the Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems Project Office of the Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems will manage work performed under the contract. Communication between the driver's compartment and the crew cab is accomplished via a vehicular intercom system. The VIC-500 vehicular intercom system, developed by Tadiran Communications, allows a crewman to keep in touch with his mates from as far as 800 meters away from the vehicle. |
