The appearance of the ulcer, the ulcer location, and the surrounding skin of the ulcer often define venous stasis ulcers, Arterial and Leg ulcers.
Under the supervision of a health-care professional, it is indicated for pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, skin tears, grafted wounds, donor sites, and surgical wounds where infection exists or threatens.
Chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers, are difficult to heal and occur more frequently among elderly individuals, usually with decreased immune functions.
