Singleton and eligibility worker Annie Fennell from the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Group assisted with medical evaluations and gave referrals for treatments. Phillip Longman's article praising the Veterans Administration in our January/February 2005 issue has recently received support from a study by the National Quality Research Center at the University of Michigan, comparing patients' ratings of care provided by the VA with that provided by private facilities. |
