RCN offers Ethernet Private Line, Virtual Private Line, and LAN services in the New York, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, DC markets.
Supporting point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-multipoint, the carrier-class Atrica infrastructure enables AFS to deliver a comprehensive set of Ethernet Transport Services, including Ethernet Private Line Service (EPL - a dedicated, point-to-point service with capacity from 50 Mb to 1 Gb, in increments of 1 Mb), Ethernet Virtual Private Line Service (EVPL - which also provides point-to-point connectivity.
Specifically, Atrica's Carrier Ethernet Systems are Ethernet Private Line (EPL), Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) and E-LAN (Ethernet multipoint-to-multipoint) services compliant with the MEF 9 technical specification for such services.
