Inspired by the classic Volvo P1800ES, the estate version of the Volvo coupA made famous by the 1960s TV series The Saint, the C30's shape was also influenced by the Volvo Safety Concept car while carrying cues from other recent Volvo show cars.
Based on the S60 saloon, the Volvo Safety Concept Car (SCC) made its debut at the recent London's Future of Transport expo to admiring glances from visitors.
The top 10 cars selected are: -- Volvo Safety Concept Car shows safety beyond the box including night vision and see-through A-pillars; controls for automated seat, pedal and floor adjustment; warning systems that cover blind spots; and rotating headlights that follow the lead of the front wheels as the turn.
