That's due in part to the fact that organizations such as WEPAN are taking measures to transform how women perceive the field.
From her pioneering work at Purdue, to the innovation of founding WEPAN to her continuing impact through The Clare Boothe Luce Program, countless women have successful careers as engineers.
An opening presentation will be given by Susan Staffin Metz, Executive Director of the Lore-El Center for Women in Engineering and Science at Stevens Institute of Technology and co-founder and president of WEPAN (Women in Engineering Programs & Advocates Network).
