Department chairwoman Victoria Leonard accepted the award on behalf of the college during the WSCA conference last month in Palm Springs.
Laura Jo Severson, president of the Washington School Counselor Association (WSCA), reported that only one third of the school counselors in Washington are members of WSCA (Hudson, 2001).
