A special thank you to Bob Lowe at Pwllheli Sailing Club and to Tim Hall, WYA for organising the water-based activities and for his informative talk about Welsh sailing.
The record-breaking WYA Acorn Junior Regatta had around 150 sailors taking part, with a strong representation from clubs all over Wales.
Today the WYA is the only Alliance that adheres to the original concept of pro-am partnerships, others having had to allow all amateur pairings to guarantee a field of acceptable size.
