The Walking Index for Spinal Cord Injury (WISCI) is a gait assessment for people with spinal cord injury (SCI) developed primarily for clinical trials.
INTRODUCTION Various rating scales have been used to assess ability in persons with spinal cord lesions (SCL), including the Functional Independence Measure (FIM)--the prevailing disability scale--and the Walking Index for Spinal Cord Injury (WISCI) [1].
