The Wall Street Journal report quoted foreign industry officials who examined the software as saying it could transmit personal information, crash computers or make them vulnerable to hacking.
A Wall Street Journal report said among the numeric names' advantages is that there is no need for translation between countries, and some numbers, such as 360, have global meaning and are reasonably priced, compared with equally short domains using letters.
