The Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (Win-T) is yet another system clamouring for battlefield bandwidth; a telecommunication system that provides C4ISR capabilities supporting tactical multimedia information systems. Two industry teams that were each under separate contracts with the Army to develop the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical, known as WIN-T, have now combined forces. The BAE Systems-Northrop Grumman team combines experience in command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence on Future Combat Systems, Force XXI Battle Command Brigade, and Below-Blue Force Tracking, Warfighter Information Network-Tactical, Command Post Platform, and Army Battle Command System applications. |
