But first, the Warhawks had to complete an 8-month deployment as part of Carrier Air Wing 11, deployed aboard Nimitz (CVN 68) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Writing for National Review Online, Gabriel Schoenfeld, author of The Return of Anti-Semitism, describes a rising tide of anti-Jewish sentiment in Europe and elsewhere, much of it inspired by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the widespread perception abroad that American foreign policy is dominated by a cabal of pro-Israeli warhawks. |
